Application Introduction

the network node (ECU) inside the car is like a station, sending information from one network to another network, and the site that needs to be transferred is the gateway. Different types of networks transmit data and exchange data through gateways. Independent gateway and new intelligent gateway with high speed, multi-channel, security and other high-end performance played a vital role in revolution of the automotive era. 

the vehicle gateway undertakes the protocol conversion between different bus types, and participates in the management of each network segment. The gateway is also an on-board node that interfaces directly with the OBD, responsible for the forwarding and control of vehicle diagnostic messages, and undertakes the defense of potential risks of the external network in the vehicle.
